Well, the safari adventure has come to a close.... We traveled from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town today to meet back up with the Amsterdam in the morning. Once we checked into our hotel, we walked to the V&A Waterfront area for some scenic sights, shopping and dinner. It was wonderful being back in Cape Town, a fabulous city. The water shortages here have put a serious crimp in the day to day activities of the people here. They have done well in managing the crisis. Now it’s time to catch up on a little sleep... way too many 0430 wakeup calls.... wouldn’t change it for the world! Looking forward to seeing the Amsterdam and my friends tomorrow.....
