Despite being less than optimal weather, we had a wonderful time exploring Raiatea today…. Irene, Patrick, Corrine & I rented a car and did a circle island tour, stopping along the way fro scenic views. Of course the major attraction was Taputapuatea, the largest mara’e in Polynesia. The island is lush and filled with beautiful landscapes, pity the weather wasn’t just a little bit better. Despite it all, we had a grand day!
