The name of Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus, is the most heavy battle tanks prototype completed during World War II. this battle tanks foundation design was proposed by Ferdinand Porsche to Hitler in June 1942, Hitler immediately agreed and ordered the Porsche as the holder of a contract to make this battle tanks.

The first prototype was made in 1943, originally was named Mammoth, a fitting name because it is inspired from the prehistoric era with the big elephants and strong, but eventually the name was later changed to Mauschen (mausie) in December 1942 before it was decided using the name of Maus (mouse) in February 1943.


For weapons, Maus using Canon 128mm, with 75mm support weapons, with 40-240mm steel thickness. Maus is operated by 7 crew, and is planned to be produced up to 200 units, but until the end of the war, only two units that successfully created. Comparing with the current battle tanks, mostly just use the 120mm cannon, steel layer composites, and manned by four people maximum.
